How It Works

FC Restoration handles every step of the insurance claim process on your behalf, saving property owners and management companies significant time and money.

  • Storm Inspections
  • Adjuster Meetings
  • Roofing
  • HVAC
  • Stucco Restorations
  • Waterproofing Testing
  1. Initial Inspection

FC Restoration inspects all buildings and structures: Roofing, HVAC, Paint, Windows, Screens, Fencing and miscellaneous items of repair due to Hail and Wind damages that may have occurred. We then prepare a full report for the Property Manager/Owner, along with photos of any visible damages.

  2. Claim

Management/Owner determines if a Claim is feasible. If the Claim is deemed necessary, management will call the Insurance Company to start the claim process. The insurance company should respond in 24 to 48 hours with an adjuster meeting appointment, at which time management informs FC of the date and time. Management can also recommend Preferred Vendors to accompany FC during the inspection. We will give your Preferred Vendors every opportunity to work with us through the process.

  3. Adjuster Meeting

FC along with our subcontractors, your Preferred Vendors and our specialty consultants will pre-inspect the property as a team before the adjuster arrives, to be fully prepared for the meeting. Some subcontractors and consultants may inspect days in advance to ensure everything visible is addressed during this very important meeting, minimizing back-and-forth negotiating on what the insurance company will allow for repairs.

  4. Bidding & Scope of Work

FC, subcontractors and consultants work with the adjuster to determine the scope of work. FC completes all bidding and writing of the scope of work that the insurance company needs to process settlement. This saves managers/owners significant time and money. We also handle all back-and-forth negotiating to reach an agreeable settlement price and scope of work.

  5. Agreement

After the scope of work and settlement price are agreed upon by the insurance company and FC, it becomes the contract price and scope of work for the Management/Owners and FC. We will only include items that the insurance company agrees to pay, unless otherwise agreed with Management/Owner.

  6. Construction Phase

FC coordinates all construction scheduling and repairs with management. We notify all tenants/residents of what to expect during the construction process. Notices are posted with FC superintendent's phone number as the first point of contact, freeing up property managers' time during the construction phase.

  7. Final Walk Through

After completion of work on major trades, we walk the entire project with Management/Owner and/or their maintenance supervisor to ensure the installation and materials are satisfactory. We take great pride in maintaining a safe and clean construction environment.

  8. Invoices & Completion Certifications

After the final walk through, FC produces invoices to the Management/Owners on completed work. Management/Owner simply forwards these invoices and certificates of completion to the insurance company for payment.

  9. Warranty

FC and our local subcontractors warrant all workmanship, and manufacturers warrant materials. Your investment is protected long after the project is complete.

Your Role Is Simple

We handle the complexity. Here's all that's required from Management/Owner:

  1. Supply FC with property list to inspect
  2. Call insurance company to make claim
  3. Inspect completed work
  4. Bill insurance company
